Arthur Lewis

Arthur D. Lewis Middletown, New York Arthur D. Lewis of Middletown, N.Y., a lifelong resident of the area, passed away on July 17, 2021 at his home. He was 76. The son of the late LeRoy and Carolyn Babcock Lewis, he was born on January 25, 1945 in Middletown, N.Y. Art was retired from the Wallkill Cemetery Assn in the Town of Wallkill. He was also formerly employed by the Times Herald Record and Lloyds Department Store in Middletown. He is survived by his brothers and sisters Sherry Budd and her husband David; Kenneth Lewis and his wife Carmela; Dennis Lewis; Ambrose "Chip" Lewis; Colleen Dumenigo (Scott) and Cindy Lewis (Jose). His uncle Kenneth Babcock and his wife Barbara and his best friend Aaron Edwards. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother LeRoy "Butch" Lewis and Diane McGraw. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday July 28, 2021 at 11 A.M. in Wallkill Cemetery Town of Wallkill, N.Y.
