Carthen A. Davoren Sr.

Carthen A. Davoren Sr. of Walden, N.Y. passed away on January 19, 2025 in Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, N.Y. He was 52.

The son of Denise Curry, he was born on May 1, 1972 in Middletown, N.Y.

Carthen was employed by Hudson Valley DDSO in Orange County, N.Y. He was a member of the Voice of the Gospel Mission Church.

Survivors include his wife Sonnymarie Johnson Davoren at home. His children Taijiamarie Davoren, Carthen A. Davoren Jr., Sonnymarie T. Davoren and Teniya L. Davoren. His grandchildren Carthen A. Davoren III and Lennox J. Davoren. His brother Juan Savage and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother Denise Curry and his sister Mary Denise Chapman.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday January 24, 2025 from 11 AM-12 Noon with a Funeral Service at 12 Noon at the Martinez Morse Funeral Home 33 Railroad Avenue Middletown, N.Y.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
