Dominick Dimunno

Dominick DiMunno, a long-time resident of the City of Middletown passed away unexpectedly at home on August 17, 2021. The son of the late Giusseppi DiMunno and Rosaria Silverii, he was born on March 20, 1951, in Poggiofiorito, Italy. He immigrated to America with his family in 1958. In 1978 he began work as a fireman at the Powerhouse of the Middletown Psychiatric Center. Many years later he retired from the Powerhouse as an Engineer. He was an "Albert Street All-Star", enjoyed woodworking, playing pool, and perusing flea markets for that gem of an antique clock. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Middletown and his daughter Julia DiMunno of New Paltz, NY; his brother Erman DiMunno and sister Serafina Cosgrove (Daniel) of Middletown. He is also survived by nephews Aaron, Adam, Matthew and Ryan and cousins. As you prepare to attend the services, the family kindly requests that facial coverings be worn when inside the Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be held on Sunday August 22, 2021 from 1-4 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday August 23, 2021 at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wallkill Cemetery Town of Wallkill, N.Y.
