Donald "Smokey" Pounds

Donald “Smokey” Pounds of Middletown, N.Y. a renowned handyman jack of all trades and also an artist whose paintings are in homes and businesses all over Middletown, N.Y. a longtime resident of the area passed away on February 14,2025 in the Kaplan Family Hospice in Newburgh, N.Y. He was 75.

 Donald was born on September 3,1949 in Brooklyn, N.Y.

 Survivors include his children Monique, Mariah, Donald Jr., Tyunique, Silace and Kevin. His brother Anthony and his sisters May and Estelle. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and nieces and nephews. 

Visitation hours and Services will be held on Saturday February 22, 2025 from 2-5 P.M. at the Martinez Morse Funeral Home 33 Railroad Ave. Middletown, N.Y. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
