Dorothy Babcock-Nowack

Dorothy M. Babcock-Nowack of Greenwood Lake, a former store clerk and longtime resident of the area, died on May 27, 2016 at her home. She was 34. The daughter of Charles Babcock and Doris Harty Jennings she was born on April 27, 1982 in Paquanck, N.J. Survivors include her husband Brandon Nowack; her children Anthony Nowack; Angelica Nowack and Brandee Nowack all of Greenwood Lake. Her "Bonus Daughter" Laura Vreeland. Her mother Doris Jennings and her stepfather David Jennings of Wanaque, N.J. Her brothers Charles Babcock Jr. and his wife Angela; George Babcock; David Visser and Christopher Visser. Her sister Melissa Babcock and her step-mother Rose (Joy) Visser. Her brothers and sisters-in laws Derek and Colleen Nowack and Margaret and Glen Mann. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday June 2, 2016 from 5-8 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak Street Greenwood Lake, N.Y.
