Dr. George E. Heuschkel of Middletown, N.Y. entered into rest on April 5, 2025 at his home. He was 87.
The son of the late George and Esther Maltby Heuschkel, he was born on July 16, 1937 in Middletown, N.Y.
He was a graduate of SUNY Orange and received his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and a master’s degree from Cornell University. He also obtained a doctorate degree from Syracuse University.
He worked as a high school chemistry teacher. After retiring from teaching, he worked for about seven years in the chemistry lab at the U.S. Mint in West Point, N.Y.
Survivors include several cousins and friends.
A Graveside service will be held at the Wallkill Cemetery 160 Midway Road Middletown, New York on Thursday April 17, 2025 at 11 A.M.
