George Michaels

George T. Michaels of Chester the owner of Orange County Wheels in Chester, died on June 7, 2018 at Wingate at Beacon. He was 81. The son of the late George and Eleanore Michaels, he was born on June 20, 1936. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in Japan. The family is thankful for the compassionate care provided by the staff at Wingate at Beacon. Survivors include his son, George and his wife Valerie; his daughter Susan White and her husband Scott. His grandchildren Jessica and Tyler Wendland, Gregory Michaels, Jessica Stafford (Cody) and Joshua Phelps. His sister Patricia Burroughs and his brother Kenneth Michaels. His best friend Maureen Graves and her daughter Julie. He was predeceased by his sisters Elaine Michaels and Eleanor Listes. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday June 12, 2018 from 4-7 P.M. at the Lippincott Funeral Home, Inc. 92 Main St. Chester, New York. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
