Heather Lynn Wood

Heather Lynn Wood entered eternal rest on January 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.  She was 42 years old.

Heather was born on April 7, 1983 in Middletown, New York to Sharee Wood.  She spent many years devoted to caring for her family.

Heather is survived by her children Cheyenne (David Rivera) and Terrance Wood. Her grandchildren Nyla, Kayden and Ayala. Her siblings Kari Wood, Lisa Wood-Serrano (Adrian Serrano), Jason Wood, Jessica Wood, Eric Wood (Angela Wood) and many nieces, nephews and extended family whom she loved deeply.  

In addition to her mother, Heather was preceded in death by her grandmother Rosemary Townsend, her aunt Tammy Brockett, uncle Bert Wood and her aunt Angel Wood.

Heather will be remembered for her quick-witted personality, her giving heart and her deep love for her family.

Services will be held on Friday January 30, 2026 from 1-4 P.M. at the New Visions Ministries 779 Route 211 East Middletown, N.Y.

A celebration of life will follow at the Middletown Elks Lodge 48 Prospect Street Middletown, N.Y. 10940.
