Helen G. Groen

Helen G. Groen Montgomery, New York Helen G. Groen of Montgomery, New York, a homemaker and lifelong resident of the area, passed away on January 7, 2021 at her home. She was 90. The daughter of the late Howard and Beatrice Rumph Cudney, she was born on August 21, 1930 in Middletown, N.Y. She was the widow of Heindrich Groen. Survivors include her children Robert Knapp (Yvonne) of Tennessee; Lillian Schoonmaker (William) of Middletown; Barbara Grzywaczewski of Montgomery; Douglas Knapp (Sue) of Campbell Hall, N.Y.; Richard Knapp (Barbara) of the State of Florida; and Carol LeBarron (Roger) of Montgomery and her son-in-law Brian Smith. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Robin Smith and her brother George Cudney and her grandson William Schoonmaker. Private Services will be held. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery Middletown, N.Y.
