Henrietta "Rita" Klein

Henrietta “Rita” Klein of Middletown, New York passed away on September 28, 2025, in Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, N.Y. She was 69.

The daughter of the late Jacob and Grace Klein, she was born on April 13, 1956, in Sussex, N.J.

Rita loved animals, especially cows. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was an avid wrestling fan.

Survivors include her brother Jacob (Beth) Klein of Goshen, N.Y. and Margaret Klein (Ken White) of Middletown, N.Y. Her uncles Hendrik Smit (Mardi) and Frederick Smit (Nancy). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Kim Klein (Dave), Emily Beard (Ethan), Kristin Steele (Dan), Sarah Knauer (Andrew) and Jacob Klein (Jess).

Visitation hours will be held on Friday October 3, 2025 from 9:30-11 A.M. with a Funeral Service at 11 AM at the Middletown Salvation Army 80 West Main Street Middletown, N.Y.

Burial will follow in the Wallkill Cemetery Middletown, N.Y.
