Keith A. Johnson of Pine Bush, New York, passed away peacefully at his home on May 27, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 64 years old.
Born in Middletown, New York, on December 29, 1961, Keith was a kind, gentle, and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose greatest joy in life was his family. He cherished his stepchildren as his own and took tremendous pride in his grandchildren, rarely missing a game and always cheering them on from the sidelines as one of their biggest supporters.
Keith was most often found by the side of his beloved wife, Linda, whom he adored deeply. Together they shared a bond rooted in friendship, love, and unwavering devotion that was evident to everyone who knew them. He had a curious spirit and a passion for discovering hidden treasures at local yard sales and antique shops. Keith also found peace and happiness in nature, tending to birds and flowers and enjoying the simple pleasure of cultivating vegetable gardens. Keith will be deeply missed by his family and friends, all of whom loved him dearly and will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Johnson, at home; his son, Al Youngblood IV and wife Sarina; his daughters, Courtney Wilson and husband Ryan, Becky Krauss and husband Phil, and Kristen Mazurowski and fiancé Mike Towt; and his cherished grandchildren, Ashlynn, Zachary, Brielle, Paige, Eliana, and Eddie. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Linda Reed; brothers-in-law Tony and Paul; sister-in-law Bonnie and her daughter Brittany Zoll; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Keith was predeceased by his son, Keith “AJ” Johnson Jr.; his parents, Leroy and Dorothy Johnson; and his brother-in-law, Ed.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 2, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Martinez Morse Funeral Home 33 Railroad Avenue Middletown, N.Y. Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, June 3, at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home, followed by burial at Wallkill Cemetery in Town of Wallkill, New York.
