Kevin Ingrassia passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, at the age of 68. A lifelong resident of the area, he was born in Middletown, New York, on March 15, 1958, the son of June and Joseph Ingrassia and Dorothy Hunt-Ingrassia.
Growing up, Kevin lived on the Ingrassia Farm on Ingrassia Road in the Town of Wallkill, where he created many cherished memories playing there with his loving cousins. He graduated from Middletown High School in 1976.
Kevin enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved spending time at home and was an avid sports fan, faithfully following the New York Knicks and the New York Yankees. He also appreciated good food, especially Italian cuisine, a variety of fish, and, of course, ice cream while watching a favorite game.
He is survived by his sisters, Niala Ingrassia of Ferndale and Lorna Aguilar and her husband Sergio of Hawley; his brothers, Frank E. Nutt Jr. and his wife, Mary, of the Town of Hamptonburgh, and Brian Nutt of Glen Spey; his many nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews; his loving Aunt Marian Smith of Colorado; many dear cousins; and his devoted caregivers, Cari and Kim, whose kindness and friendship meant so much to him.
The family extends its sincere gratitude to the dedicated staff of United Hospice and to Dr. John Ferguson for the compassionate care and support they provided to Kevin.
Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Joseph, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, New York 10940.
Interment will follow at Scotchtown Cemetery, 328 Blumel Rd. Scotchtown, New York, 10941.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to United Hospice 42 Park Place Goshen, N.Y. 10924 or to a charity of one's choice in Kevin's memory.
Kevin will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
