Linda Marie Williams

(February 13, 1956- December 28, 2025)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Marie Williams, a lifelong resident of Slate Hill, who left us on December 28, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 69.

The daughter of the late Earl Sr. and Edna (Aber) Storms. She was born on February13,1956 in Middletown, New York.

Linda worked at Orange County Community College as a cook for over 25 years. After retiring she worked in food service at Minisink Valley School District. She enjoyed cooking, catering and entertaining.

She was a beloved spouse, sibling, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend, touching the lives of many with her kindness. She was known for her love of cooking, canning vegetables from her garden, she also enjoyed fishing, watching Stockcar and NASCAR racing, and most of all loved all activities involving her Grandchildren. She also loved her dog, Rosie.

Linda is survived by her loving husband Edward of 50 years, her children Michele Williams and her partner Joseph; Amy Smith and her husband Kyle; and Robert Williams and his partner Denise. Her Grandchildren; Gracie, Ava, Emily, and Tristan. She is also survived by her siblings Earl Storms Jr., Ronald Storms, Emma Williams and many nieces and nephews. Along with her brother and sister-in-law Robert and Janet Williams.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Frederick Storms and her sister Carol Davis.

Linda’s life will be celebrated at a Memorial Service at the Grace United Methodist Church in Ridgebury, NY. On Friday January 2, 2026. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and share their memories. Visiting hours will be 11am -1pm following with a service.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County, NY, New York Cancer and Blood Specialists, especially Dr. Sharma and his staff, Crystal Run Healthcare, and Dr. Lyn.
