Louise Blum

Louise Blum adoring wife, friend and lover of Les Blum for 45 years passed away on Friday August 14th. Louise was 68 . She is survived by her husband, sons Matthew and Michael, daughter-in-law Jenn, and her brotherRobert. She graduated as a Registered Nurse and worked as an Emergency Room Nurse at Horton Memorial Hospital in Middletown. She later was employed as a nurse at the Greenwood Lake Elementary School. Friends are invited to the memorial service at Strong-Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak Street in Greenwood Lake on Wednesday August 19, 2015 between 4pm and 7pm. There will be a private interment will be held for family at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Breast Cancer Society or COPD Foundation.
