Marcia Watson

Marcia Denise Watson of Middletown, N.Y. a former CNA at the Orange County Infirmary in Goshen, N.Y. and a longtime resident of the area, passed away on December 31, 2024 in Garnet Health Medical Center. She was 71.

The daughter of the late Garfield and Eleanore Yarber, she was born on September 11, 1953 in Newark, New Jersey.

Marcia was a Diva, Sassy and Classy. She was known to many as “Mom”, and enjoyed cooking, fashion and having her hair done. The highlight of her life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Eddie Watson and her children Evay Watson, Daamu Diggs, Donita Yarber, Toyya Yarber and Ebony Watson. Her sister Michelle Yarber and her grandchildren Juliana, Evay Jr., Eli, Ellinia, Ramel, Tramel, Daquil, Anessa and Angel and her great-grandchildren Amare, Bliss and Peyton. She is also survived by her nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Garfield Yarber, Jr.

Memorial services will be held on Friday January 17, 2025 from 2-4 P.M. at the Martinez Morse Funeral Home 33 Railroad Avenue Middletown, N.Y.
