Mary Alice DeGroat of Middletown, N.Y. a retired aide at the Orange County Infirmary in Goshen, N.Y. passed away on Wednesday November 2, 2022 in Park Manor Rehabilitation and Health Care. She was 79.
The daughter of the late George and Cecil DeGroat, she was born on June 28, 1943 in Middletown, N.Y.
Survivors include her brother Stewart DeGroat and her children Marvin Howard, William DeGroat, Felicia Lewis (Wayne Sr.) and Diane Rivera (Celestino Sr.). Her grandchildren Corey, Celestino Jr., Wayne Jr., Symone, Luis, Celina, Savaysha, Adriana and Cole. Her great-grandchildren Noah, Ivette, Layla, Jaxson, Julian, Camille and Corey Jr. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday November 8, 2022 from 11 A.M.-1 P.M. with a Funeral Service at 1 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery Middletown, N.Y.
