Samuel R. Vogt

Samuel R. Vogt of Westtown, N.Y. a motorsports mechanic and technician and a lifelong resident of the area, passed away on August 24, 2022. He was 43.

The son of the late Richard R. Vogt and Susanne Vogt, Samuel was born on March 11, 1979 in Goshen, N.Y.

Survivors include his sons Ryan and Ryder and their mother Shannon of Greenville, N.Y. His mother Susanne Vogt of Westtown. His brothers Richard Vogt Jr. and Nathan Vogt both of Middletown, N.Y. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, his extended family and many friends.

He loved spending time with his two sons the most, especially fishing together. A motorsports enthusiast, he loved to race cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles, quads and could build/fix anything he put his hands on. He was a generous man, always helping others, no questions asked and never expected anything in return. He will be so missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday August 31, 2022 from 4-7 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
