William M. Heath

William "Butterball" Heath, affectionately known as "Butter," "Ball," Or "Butterball," was born on March 23, 1953, in Beckley, West Virginia, to the late Herman Harold and Mary Elizabeth Heath Law. His journey took him from the South to New York City, and eventually to Middletown, Ny which became his home for many years. On July 25, 2026, he peacefully entered into eternal rest.William earned the nickname "Butterball" after arriving into the world weighing an impressive 12 pounds. Though known for his towering stature and unmistakable deep voice, those who knew him best remember the gentle giant with an even bigger heart. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and serve his neighbor.He proudly worked for Central Fur Storage Company, transporting and storing furs while driving trucks across the country. He took pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way.William loved classic automobiles and would often joke that his favorite car was "any one big enough to hold me in it." He was also a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan. Despite his larger-than-life presence, his family lovingly remembers that he had a few well-known fears—deep water, rodents, and needles—which became part of the many stories that made him uniquely "Butter."A faithful member of Faith Alive Ministries, William's faith remained a source of strength and hope throughout his life.William was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Herman Jr., Howard, Robert Richard, Charlotte Ann, And Haroldlynn. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving Siblings- Helen Heath Turner, Mariam, Patricia, And David "Gene"; his daughters Tyhedra Wilson and Simone Peartree; his cherished Granddaughters Ruby Rose, Keila And Kezia And a host of loving family and friends. Though William's deep voice has grown silent, the love he shared, the laughter he inspired, and the kindness he showed will continue to echo in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered not only for his size, but for the even greater size of his heart. Visitation hours will be held on Friday August 7, 2026 from 12:00 P.M. -1:00 P.M. with a Service at 1:00 P.M. at the Martinez Morse Funeral Home 33 Railroad Avenue Middletown, N.Y.
