William Henry MacMullin, a retired Farrier at Blue Chip Farms in Wallkill, N.Y. and a longtime resident of Ulster County, died on March 24, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 87. The son of the late Daniel and Margaret Campbell MacMullin, he was born in Cape Briton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada on November 25, 1930. He was a member of the NYS Trotting Assn. and was the 1977 Horseman of the Year. Survivors include his wife Connie MacMullin. His children Norman (Barbara) Eaton of Michigan; Gregory MacMullin of N.Y.; Michael MacMullin (Melisa) of the State of FLA.; Teresa Geisler (John) of TN.; Christopher MacMullin (Irene) of VA; Henry MacMullin (Kelly) of N.J. and Mary MacVean (Jamie) of N.Y. His brothers and sister: Angus; John; Barbara and Douglas. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Martha and Sister Chris and brothers Charlie and Roddy. Visitation hours will be held on Friday March 30, 2018 from 1-4 and 6-8 P.M. with a prayer service at 1:30 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
